Social justice projects We prepared an area social services directory for our parishioners. We also participated in the "Casseroles for Cosgrove's Kitchen" in East St.Louis which is run by St. Vincent dePaul. Our parish does have a St. Vincent dePaul society which gives financialassistance for utilities, rent, medicine, etc. to people within our parish boundaries. It also tries to refer people outside our area to appropriate organizations and government sources for help We have been getting some ideas from a neighboring parish, and will also look forward to seeing what parishes in the St. Louis area are doing. |
